| Side Key refers to a switch assembly designed to be generally placed at the side of portable electric
appliances, performing such functions as volume tuning, lighting or camera operation.
Side Key, classified into all-in-one type and independent-type, generally consists of metal dome sheet and
PCB and optionally, when flexible printed circuit board is used, needs adding a 0.2 ? 0.4mm thick stainless
steal or FR4 stiffener to have the flexible board stiffened.The slim and compact design with the thickness of
1mm or under including the reinforces will provide great advantages for designing every portable electric
appliance like mobile phone, MP3 and the like. |

In the shape of metal dome sheet built in the same structure
as the main key, side key is also designed to provide
peel-n-place assembly method. EMI printing is
optionally pplicable. |
