Metal Dome is a switching device designed to be placed on a circuit board such as (flex) printed circuit board or membrane by means of pressure-sensitive adhesive tape or film and function by momentary contact to terminal plate on the circuit board, innovatively improving in the matter of tactile feel, life time, productivity and mechanical design. Metal dome, backed up by the development of various mobile communication devices, is being even more valuably recognized while the recent multi- functional and high-performance mobile devices require as much better performance in such as tactile feel and reliability for life time, and is rapidly extending its applications even to the industries of remote controller, medical equipments and various household electric appliances as well as mobile phones, wireless phones, MP3 and navigators.
